“Anastasia Around The World” is a documentary series I planned to release once in a while, covering different parts of my journey around the world.  This first part, “A Voyage To Cuba” is about my very first 1200 miles solo voyage to Cuba and a little more.

I purchased my first sailboat in 2014. A Canadian 26 feet Grampian Marine… and I moved aboard right away. Two years later I changed her for Anastasia, a 28 feet Pearson Triton. I lived in South Beach Miami aboard Anastasia until 2018, when I tried to start my journey sailing solo around the world. Sadly that didn’t go too well due to financial issues, so I had to sell Anastasia and return home in Romania. That broke my heart, but it was not the end…
